We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Returners for your unwavering support of DEEMO II.
We are so proud to welcome the new year with you by our side, we are readjusting our approach when planning song packs. In the future, we aim to include more collaborative IP song packs and thematic curated selections.
Since the 4.0 update, we have been receiving many Returners' enthusiastic suggestions. With the update to version 4.1, we have made the following adjustments:
- Removed the restriction on locked performances during the progression of Chapter 1.
- Added high FPS and MSAA options for Explore and Rhythm modes.
- Introduced color prompts for Combo Fast/Slow and AC/FC.
- Added finer adjustments for flow speed settings.
- Included options to change tapped keys' sound effects.
- Added a quick jump button for Song Packs.
- Introduced dual-finger zoom functionality for maps.
- Added a feature for bulk purchasing collectibles.
- Improved options for adapting track layouts on devices with a 16:9 or wider screen.
- Added vibration intensity options.
- Enhanced the experience of rhythm calibration.
- Improved the operation of the virtual joystick.
- Enhanced the display of hints for quest characters.
- Fixed known bugs and improved performance.
We deeply hope the modified content above will improve every player's gaming experience!
Every future seasonal event will also have the following adjustments:
Composer's Concert
- In the Concert, scores earned when playing owned charts will be saved.
- The event cycle will change from every four weeks to every two weeks and will be split into first and second half.
- Rewards for song adaptations will include new tracks debuting from Rayark, featured in the "Flowers of the Four Seasons" song pack.
- Classical rewards will continue to be released, alternating with new concert songs.
- The Star Point reward exchange shop will be removed; rewards can now be claimed directly from the progress bar.
- Special chart rewards will no longer be limited to songs within purchasable song packs; any song may feature special charts in the future.
Star Bugaboo (Limited Chart)
- All 12 limited tracks are now available, and Starby will continue to be distributed. Once all limited tracks from the Star Bugaboo are redeemed, Shards can be converted into Crystals.
Other In-Game Plans & Adjustments:
- Monthly limited-time Arcanum will shift from the twelve zodiac signs to a visual theme based on the new Song Pack released that month.
- Future paid Song Packs' core concepts will be designed around each piece's compositional inspiration and source, placing greater emphasis on the connection between artwork and music.
- Special charts will build upon the existing Flick Note mechanics, introducing multi-finger pressing and diverse configurations, though they may not always coexist with Flick Note.
- To promote composers and their works, beginning with version 4.1, we will support languages beyond English and numeric characters. With the consent of the composers, we will adjust the titles and composer names of released tracks. For detailed adjustments, please refer to the official announcement (See Official Announcement). In future versions, newly added titles and composer names will primarily be displayed in their original languages.
Some concepts in development may be subject to changes announced in future updates.
Making DEEMO II an even better mobile rhythm game has always been the development team's goal. We sincerely thank all Returners for your support and invaluable feedback.
We hope the new year will bless each and every Returner with more new and wondrous gaming experiences.
