In the 2.0 version, we added "Flick Note" was added to Hard charts, which was a pioneering trial. However, among the player feedback received, some mentioned Flick Notes made the difficulty point allocations more unclear, while others wish they wouldn't be forced to play with Flick Notes. Therefore, our team has reign in this function and is considering future modifications.

To resolve the issue of players being forced to play with Flick Note and not affect their gaming experience when playing on the same difficulty, as well as offer more scalability in the future, we have adopted the following changes for the DEEMO's 4.0 version:

• Added chart difficulty "Special", and current previous Hard charts with Hard difficulty have been modified to Special difficulty.
• After modifications, Hard charts containing Flick Notes will no longer have them, though everything regarding these charts remain unchanged.
• Hard charts with Flick Notes that have already been played will keep their highest performance score recorded, and their Special version will inherit said scores.
• Special charts will contain Flick Notes, but will not be added to the new "Skill Rate" system's calculations.
• Starting today, we will be releasing more Special charts of current songs, and make further changes to charts' structures.
